About our founder
Arne Peters is an ex-professional cyclist and worked for 3.5 years in the bicycle industry before starting Morpheus Bicycles.
During his cycling career he experienced that aero road bikes were not designed for his fastest position. That is why he designed the first Morpheus, the Reppit, with a radical high stack.
His mission with Morpheus is to help cyclists get faster on flat roads. This mission is the first step towards motivating and inspiring people to get more active and live a healthy lifestyle.

What to expect from our first meeting
During our first call we explore if a Morpheus Reppit is the right bike for your goals. We will discuss the size options to find the one that will fit you best. After finding the right size, we will discuss the configuration of parts that suit your needs. Lastly, we explore your dream paint job and discuss the estimated delivery time. There will be plenty of room to ask your personal questions as well.

What is the lead time?
Current lead time is 3-6 months.
Did you test it in a windtunnel?
No. We believe that a windtunnel test is only useful with you the rider on the bike. The data of a bike in isolation is interesting, but not worth the investment for us right now.
How much does it weigh?
Frame size L without paint and hardware is ~1350 grams (+/- 2%).
Fork without paint is ~565 grams (+/- 2%)
Seatpost without paint is ~196 grams (+/- 2%)
Is it UCI legal?
The UCI approval process is pending.
What is the tire clearance?
Recommended maximum tire width is 35 mm (measured).
Is it suitable for criteriums and road races?
Yes. It is especially useful for breakaways and solo attacks. It will take a few rides to get used to the handling.
Is it suitable for climbing and sprinting?
Yes. The frame is designed for flat roads specifically, but climbing and sprinting are no problem. It will take a few rides to get used to the handling.
